Repeater Issues

I may have screwed up with trusting newly released equipment.

My BTECH GMRS RPT50, the repeater, seems to have a power/hardware failure, most likely with the duplexer.

If you have tried to communicate and have not been able to do so recently, this would be the reason.

I will be in contact with BTECH and see if I can get any assistance in the matter. Until then, I hope 14W can suffice.

That’s a bummer. Still extremely clear on my handheld from almost exactly 10 miles from the airport this afternoon.

  I heard ya! I returned your hail. Super clear on my end, the repeater is just not pushing the 50W it should be, which is exactly what the only review had stated about it.
  
  A request has been submitted and I will see about replacing the unit. I like hosting a repeater and I will keep the service available as much as possible until a repair or replacement needs to be made.
